In AB A Luxon/s has had Kurzick guest privalages (sorry about spelling) and have been going into AB, standing at start and constantly killing themselves using Blood Is Power. I'm not saying this is just Luxons but there the only ones I have seen doing this. This is taken all the fun out of AB and is not fair on other playes. Has this been happening to you? and maybe post the names of these people.

It's definitely cheap... and shame on my fellow Luxon for being a griefer/punk.

It shames me to see a Luxon resort to such an underhanded tactic. Sorry for what happened, even if you are Kurzick. :shocked:
Yeah I experienced this too, a couple days ago. A couple bad eggs on Luxon side started saccing themselves at Grenz. Somehow the Kurzicks were so weak that we still won! :grin:

When playing Kurzick I saw some luxons do this, giving the Kurzicks 3 points. Than someone on the Kurzick team said "That was my friend, I got him to do that." I'm sure some of the Luxon players were pissed at the end of the game, since we (Kurzicks) won that particular battle by a single point. (It was a well played battle otherwise.)

kurzicks use to do that a lot i heard...but that's the first case of that i've heard in a long time.

its a disgrace for someone to even consider that. I haven't personally witnessed it myself but I think its awful

never seen it but i couldnt imigane that they wouldnt do it. not just luxons but kurzick too.
i myself am a kurzick and have never thought of attempting this. in my book its cheating and if i wrote the rules anyone spotted doing this would get a perm ban.
and its not to late to impliment that idea. i dont think it should be too hard.

But that could be exploited too, with people sacrificing themselves just when they are on the verge of death.

Lol our group ran minion factory and did now know that saccing urself to death granted other team points... woopsie. That was only once though...
Make those people actually lose faction when they sac themselves to death. If you do once by mistake, it shouldn't hurt you that much, and it's just another incentive not to make stupid mistakes again.

I saw a Luxon team do this tonight...they all had the same guild tags. They were all one profession I think, at first I just thought they were leeching. One of my team mates noticed they were only coming out to die. I'm assuming they were Kurzick or friends of Kurzick. Perhaps it might be a good idea for everyone involved in the cheating to stop. Ruins a good thing for everyone involved really.

If you are being serious, you are the type who needs to be banned from AB and other Arenas. Anet needs to have zero tolerance for this behavior.

ummm... i think you are just trying to make yourself sound good. the little boy who cried wolf? you couldn;t possiblly kill yourself 50 times before the game even started and even then you couldn;t kill yourself 50 times in 1 game. :sealed:
just goes to show that just like in real life there are those that ride on the back of other people's success. generally those that do not do the hard work in life are those that end up in the gutter sniffing petrol and drinking turpentine to get high and die of disease at the age of 30. good luck. :angry:

the worse thing about this is that there are only 2 professions (I think) that can do this: necros and monks. the players who do this saccing give these 2 professions a bad reputation and if it continues then we will have a total exclusion (maybe not with monks so much) of these professions from PvP. this means that more people will leave PvP and the PvP status will decrease

imo if you want to mess around in AB just bring unyielding aura... no need to kill yourself when you can kill your allies :D (which by the way Unyielding Deaths shouldnt count as points if they do..)

Saw this once as a Luxon except they weren't using BiP.
Two Necros loaded and started spamming Blood Ritual on the other. A few seconds later, the Kurzicks are wondering why they got points already.

I tried AB for the 1st time this weekend. It seems like all it is is one side capping the shrines in a clockwise fashion and the other side following behind to cap the shrines you capped just before. Repeat a few more times. At least I got my 10k faction to continue the storyline.

then you were unfortunate to be in that battle. usually 1 side mobs and the other splits into 4-4-4 to cap shrines which is good fun

or, everyone starts out by capping shrines, then one team kills the other team too much and they all start rezzing at the same point which causes a mob. or people start yelling "MOB" or "Cap Cap Cap" or "Noooob!" or "LAG!". sometimes people just run anywhere they like and just kill each other. sometimes one group holds the bridge in the middle. sometime there are 12 assassins running around spiking everything in site. sometimes there are E/D tanks just standing around tanking and taking the attention of 6 people intent on trying to kill them... and other times it might as well be called Minion Battles. :laugh:

I really wish Anet would make it so that if you are in a Kurzick guild you cannot ab as a luxon even with a guest invite & same with Luxons getting guests to kurzick guilds. that would stop alot of crap like this.

but then what happens when a player who is aligned with the kurzicks wants luxon armour? you can't really get 10k luxon faction just by the quests and basically nobody does FA or JQ anymore.

Buy the jade/amber at the trader or gain a blessing at a shrine and slaughter everything in your way.

No, not really. Although, it is a good arena to just goof around in and pass time.

wow. I never heard of anyone doing this until I read this thread, then all of a sudden i was in 2 AB's with people doing this.
Yeah I have seen this before, I have also seen people just randomly running around doing nothing and dieing on purpose, it is very annoying.
Yeah it happened like 2 days ago like a team of 4 saccers were doing that...

I am kurzick and i have seen this happen a few times. Its been a while back but it was a guild group of 4. (same guild tags) For some strange reason i got these same people for 3 battles in a row and after that i gave up and just stopped ab'n for a while. but anyway as soon as they loaded in the sac'n began. It's been a while so i cant really remember how many points it gave the luxons. But not only did they stop there, they ran around (from the time i could see them) and wouldn't even try to fight and would just die repeatedly. I've seen this happen to both sides so its not only the luxons that do it. Not sure what anet can do to stop this but it would be nice if there was someway around it. Ab is about the only pvp i do since i have a very small guild and HA is a rank discrim.

They have implemented the /report feature for a reason. I'm sure reporting for selibarate saccing would be acceptable, as malicious behaviour.

There was no report feature when this happened and for the moment the report feature has been taken out. The dishonour still remains but the report feature was only around for the test weekend.

even if the report feature wasn't taken away it would be useless anyway because you can only report a partymember.
