Well we are in test weeked part two ohh the joy.
but i feel HA has got so boring.
Goto HA any time of the day or night and fight the same teams over and over again.

Rit spirit spammers
Rit hexers
Paraspike
Ranger spike

over and over again.since the Rit upgrade to a super power every other team is a RIT team.
I know flavour builds will always happen but can't people come up with there own builds. If you dont like RIT teams then you end up standing around for hours lfg.

come on people use your heads find your own builds and make HA have a vast diverse set of teams.

For those trying different things well done. a big thumbs up to you.
Ha should be you never know what you will fight and fight your hardest to win.

instead of playing for 6 hours fighting 20 RIT teams. and maybe one or two teams trying somthing new......................................

How do Rit Hexers work? :undecided:

Agree 100% with this post. It's just like the elite missions in PVE though, players know a combo that works and will not deviate from it. It's pretty sad in HA trying to play a more obscure yet effective build. People just simply don't want it.

6v6 asks for some specific builds. You want diversity? petition for the return of 8v8...sure flavor builds will come back, but I can think of a couple hundred new skills that will help turn some on their heads.

how will 8v8 make things better? if everyone is using the rit build because it works surely adding another healer and hex, spirit RIT in there makes that build stronger.Sure adding somthing to your own team will help but if you cant win 6v6 8v8 would be the same

or am i missing somthing?

zergway isn't nearly as effective anymore, all the Para songs got nerfed a bit as did steady stance.

The first two days my guild played, we only fought two other rit spikes. More common I'd say are eleballs, or eurospike, or some form of balanced. Rits got a buff so they're actually being used for more than spirit spam now, which I'm glad for.

Ha quality should be never linked to diversity. Pugs will always be formed around the easiest most effective builds simply because all the "super complex builds that we more creative members of the ha community would prefer to run" are simply too hard for 90% of the community to dedicate to. People just want to get in and click "enter battle" and they really want to at least win 1 game. Why would they experiment with several builds that might work if they actually had some skill, when they can play a build that will work even without skill. Diversity will always be at the far 10% of the community, and because of that diversity should not be the measure of quality HA. Skill however will always be an accurate measure of the state of Ha, and as long as it takes skill to hold the hall of heroes then diversity will come.

Every build has its counters. When people find the counters to the current flavours, they will be replaced. Simple as that.

And AlsPals is actually correct about 8v8. You see, a rit spirit spammer is powerful(I know because that's my favourite thing to do with my beloved rit... just to watch everything run up and die). Putting 2 more rits into a spirits spamming build isn't really the most efficient thing. Rits need 2 things to effectivly do summoning right. 1. Energy 2. Space

6 rits summoning takes alot of space up as it is. Putting 8 in means they end up fighting for space. It would allow more room for other builds to counter the mighty spirit spammers, and wouldn't add anything good for the rit. A summoning rit fights better the less amount of characters there are on the field.

I have fought 1 Rit team out of 8 today. And please don't even get into Rits being overpowered, go back a few months before Rit Lord nerf, they had to nerf ALL 8 skills in that build to make it ineffective. They have finally tossed a bone to the Rits and I am for one very happy, if you want a hint, go for the interupt, a lot of rit skills are 1-5 second casts. Get an interupt and they will go down.

Fotms are to give you a idea of HA and to get to R3. At that point, make your own teams, be inventive, try euro-spiking, HA becomes a lot of fun once you get there

sadly your still talking about pugs and that new r3 still has no reason to go beyond what he knows when he is pugging.

HA is a joke because right now you play build X or you don't play at all. Not because it's different, but because build X beats everything else. HA will always be this way until Anet balances the game, which will never happen.

which is of course why every single team i encounter in HA is running the exact same skills and professions.

Please. QQ more while I kick *** and have a blast.

This frustration reminds me of when the game started and the people in beta weekend and beyond were complaining that all-wammo teams were too overpowered and that mesmers had no place in the competition whatsoever. I laff at this thread in spite of myself.

You are talking like all you can play, and all you play is ritualist. Ritualists are overpowered its a fact. I see more ritualists than actual elementalist doing massive damage in gvg now.

its true, Anet has a hard time deciding what to do with the ritualist.

Everything is usually balanced around ANets "Intent" for a profession (hence the ele buff at NF release when for a while they weren't used for direct damage)

but I'm still not sure what Anet's intent for teh ritualist class is.

ritualist is a hard prof 2 balance.. You see the whole char is a mix of a monk, ranger, ele, necro.. well what can i say a bit of everything.. so a slight buff can overpower it like... and a slight nerf will destroy everything for the rit..

The ritualist wanna do a bit of everything and dats impossible(almost) cuz either it is to weak and can be replaced by other prof.. or it is to strong.. there is a thin line between that..

im not sure wheter to call it a mistake from the developers from anet.. It just looks like they didnt have any ideas so they came out with a mix..

Dunno what the OP's complaining about...last Saturday night I do not think I saw the same build every match or even close to the every match, nor did I see any of the builds the OP mentions...

I just went to HA with old guildies and beat every team we fought. The only time we lost is when we got ganked on broken, court, or HoH. I'm not QQing because I have no reason to. It's pretty obvious to me that I was one of the 6 best players in HA last night. And you aren't kicking ***. You're running someone else's overpowered build without knowing how it works. Spamming skills on recharge doesn't make you good.

The reason there are only 2 populated HA districts during busy hour is because no good players go there anymore. HA is like pve to us. Not worth our time. Even the golds from the chest suck.
