You enter AB, one of your fellow 2 teams of four people leave... You are faced with a 8 v'12s that you have no real hope of winning....

What do you do ?

Leave and get dishonour?

Fight knowing you are going to spend a fair amount of time for very little reward?

Speaking of which, today I was AB'ing as usual with my Ranger. The map was the Kurzick map that is between salt flats and their fortress. I was semi-solo'ing the right Elite Elementalist shrine. At the shrine, there was the usual 2 NPC Elementalists and the Elite Elementalist. Finally there was an obscure Ranger running an I.W. build and a Dervish with VoSilence.

They both pulled away from their shrine and attacked a stupid Paragon teammate on my team who didn't bother to kite. So I attacked both of them to apply my poison while my Paragon "friend" slowly died. By the way, I wonder what would be going through his head. It must be something like, "I'm going to be ****ed eventually but I don't care." So after he died, I crippled both of them and slowly killed off the Ranger. Next I was working on the Dervish though he had a self heal I didn't catch so he was able to heal himself. He finally grew some brains and ran back to his shrine in hopes that I will dumbfoundedly charge into it. Of course, I was prepared and pulled out my flatbow and safely started to work on the NPCs that were guarding the shrine. While they were slowly dieing, the Dervish realized that his plan couldn't work so he charged me. Obviously I was expecting this so I immediately crippled him. Then my mildly retarded Paragon friend joined up with me again. Since the Dervish was crippled and he couldn't reach me, he started to attack the Paragon. He then tried to use his self heal and I interrupted it. The Paragon slowly died again, again he didn't kite at all, and so did the Dervish. I finished off the shrine NPCs and capped it. At that time, an Assassin from the Luxon base portal decided to try and take the shrine. This time though, I had the Elite Elementalist guarding my back. I promptly crippled this no shadowstep Assassin and again worked on him until he died. Of course he died much quicker because I had the Elementalist on my back.

So after all of this that happened, the match ended with a score of 500 Kurzick, 180 Luxon.

When I'm in a match I can't possibly win, I generally try to find the stupidest player on the other team. Then, I follow him around and kill him while screaming in local about it. In the event that I cannot follow him around (because he and his buddies chase me instead, for instance) I instead make as many idiot phrases in local that I can. This can include no end of abuse towards luxons, luxon parentage, luxon personal habits, or luxon bravery. I also like to make inane comments like "U WUD HAVE LOST IF I HAD MY WAR" while I'm on my war. I also like to scream things that are patently untrue like "MONKS R FOR SMITING." It's important that all this be in caps and in local with poor spelling. You would be astonished just how amusing this is. If all else fails, spamming "GUILD WARS GUILD WARS..." as often as you can never fails to arouse the ire of most everyone. Extra points for getting a full team to do it, and double extra points for getting a dev to do it.

Yeah I was going to say, psychological warfare pwns because saccing yourself next to an enemy, not really doing anything productive, then spouting how their homosexual father has more skillz than them really strikes fear into your opponents' meek hearts.

Almost like a protest that involves *** intercourse.

The reason I ask is that I've seen a number of teams leaving AB.... entire 4 man teams.
Do people create fake opposite allied guilds to annoy the other side or becuase they want the map to move so they can get more faction ?

You are sounding like a alliance mate of mine. Saying something along the lines of "omg Luxons suck" when you're on Luxon side yourself is priceless.

As for OP, just rack up those points anyway. They count for something. Even if you lose, might as well get more in the process.

I start *****ing at my teammates both in team and local, and see how many pissed off PMs I get.

One time only two out of three teams zoned into the match, so my team of alliance mates just resigned out and entered a new match. Guess we weren't feeling snarky that day.
