Argh, i see very few sins in high end gvg :( . However, if i was tempted to play one in pvp, what insignia would you proffessionals recommend for my armour? Energy? Health? +Armour?

Survivor probably. With a rune of Clarity.

Either survivor, or a mix of survivor+radiant. Make sure you have a cripple rune.

would you suggest bothering with a superior?

Ive been thinking of upping my current (major) dagger rune for the extra double hit and crit chance

also, should I be using a clarity? I have a resto on right now and Im not going to stack them both

Im all uncertain now

Usually people go with one major as the maximum. I always say, if you can run it without problems that's your choice but once you get bellow 400hp, for PVP anyways, it's pointless and most likely a bad decision. But again, if it suits your purpose you're more welcomed to try.

you shouldn't be going under 500 HP in pvp

I ended up changing it back to a minor after realizing how much more I died

You're learning faster than most of the people in this section.

Nice, I run 515/33 E on average.

One major or Superior, one or the other and you should be fine. Anymore and the sacrifice of health for points becomes pointless. Usually bellow 450, you're survival rate drops drastically. Not that it's impossible to live, it's just hard to stay alive. So if you can manage, koodos to you. I did in AB for sometime but that's because I was doing pretty well with CD and picking precise targets that I could out parse and defend with vamp/def combinations.

Anyways, enjoy :)

Majors/superiors serve only one use:
14 Dagger
13 Crit Strikes
6 (major in crit strikes) or 8 (sup in crit strikes) in a third line

Use minors till you get the hang of it. Then try out the majors. The sups are really really likely to be a complete waste of your time, but if you and your allies have the time, you can try sups too.

Hmmm...I was under the impression that Sup Runes were a HUGE no-no in GvG, no exceptions.

I've always been told (and I'm just starting to GvG with my guild) that 550HP is the low end of health in GvG.

Are Sins some sort of exception (because the are expected to die anyway)?

An assassin will sometimes run a major in GvG to hit breakpoints. However, anything under 550, especially for an assassin, is not going to go well. Of course, if you have 5 monks, then it probably doesn't matter.

600 health is good.
