so, like, reading up on some Lich King news, i saw this:

Eyonix over at the official World of Warcraft forums has dropped some details about a new patch due to be released "in the coming weeks" that slips in some of the new Wrath of the Lich King content before the release of the eagerly anticipated expansion pack. Included in the patch are nifty new features like barbershops in all capital cities, allowing players to change their look, Stormwind Harbor and new zeppelin towers outside Ogrimmar and Tirisfal to help facilitate transportation to Northrend, two brand new arenas with moving obstacles and terrain hazards, new spells and talents, revamped hunter pet skills, the incredibly nifty guild calendar feature, and a new profession - Inscription. Players who own Burning Crusade will be able to level Inscription up to 375, continuing past that cap once the expansion is released.

Exciting news, but not as exciting as the news it implies. Wrath of the Lich King is coming, perhaps sooner than we've hoped. I for one welcome our new Death Knight overlords.



it reminded me of the ever popular request from players for GW1, and might be possible for GW2.

Personally, i'd like to be able to "Grow" a beard every now and then in the game. Beards = ADVENTURE!

It took WoW over 3 years to come up with a barbershop? I think it took 6-8 months for LOTRO to come up with them. LOTRO also has a nice outfit system that allows players to wear whatever they want without having to care about the stats and still wear their regular armors under; alas that system does not include weapons, shields and bows.

I really hope GW2 will have barbershops.

What about an automatical beard +1 everytime you rest :D.
The longer you rest, the bigger the beard gets, and then you have to shave/trim it.
I wonder if the ladies will also have to shave their legs. *hides*

I recall the Devs said they couldn't do it because of some problem with the current engine so they will most likely add this to GW2 because it is a much requested feature.
