Can anybody give me a logical answer "Other than it looks cool, cooler, ect.." Why unless your item is of a rare skin or special skin it is considered crap and or merchant fodder even though the stats may be just as good or better than something with a special skin?

Or are people just so ignorant all they care about is looks and not what the actual mods are?

Req 9 Fellblade 20/20
Req 9 (Commonly Found Sword) 20/20

Wrong Forum. And people buy this stuff because it looks nice. Which is what I do.

Mods are easy to get/change, "good" skins are harder to come by. A low req max damage common skin usually isn't "crap or merchant fodder", it's just not worth as much.
