What is ParadoX ?
We are an established group of experienced PVPers, who look forward to GW2 as an MMO that takes PVP seriously for once: PVP not just as fancy; no forced PVP for "PVEers"; actual PVP content, especially for groups.
We all have long and broad experience in regards to PVP. When we PVP we do so to win, not just to score two or three casual kills. In the meantime we do like some PVE for a change, and the challenging 5-man dungeons of GW2 without the big time raid orga look just like our thing.

That's it, actually. Just let me stress that we do a value long term commitment, both in regard to guild as in regard to game. We're especially looking for members who are also willing to contribute to our fine website, in particular in the area of design.
Please remember that while we run an English website and all do understand English, our internal guild life happens largely in German. Hence, unless you at least understand German, you will not be able to participate in our daily guild life, which is an essential social basis for a strong team.

German, English... what ?
Our website is in English, as we're aiming for competitive PVP, which is naturally international -- and so is the GW2 community. Our internal communication is still in German, and so will be our server.
Competitive PVP... are you all nerdy boys living in your mom's basement ?
Well... not really. Our members are between 20y and 40y old. IRL we all have jobs or a study we take seriously, plus friends, family and non-gaming hobbies. We also have a number of female members. As adults we know that what matters in the end is not most time spent, but time spent best.
So this is another stupid zerg guild ?
On the contrary ! Our target is to have 3-4 teams available, so our members have an easy time to find mates suitable for their playstyle, schedule and chosen profession. In WvWvW this will allow us to act as quick and flexible group -- coordinated enough to strike high value targets, yet strong enough to bust true zergs as they jam their heads against castle walls.
Small guild, big claims -- got any proof ?
Our ranks are filled with seasoned and accomplished PVPers from all kinds of backgrounds. Be it MMOs, FPS or RTS, we played at the highest level for years... We have top 10 GW players (GVG, HA, etc), WOW Gladiators and RVR veterans (DAOC, WAR, AOIN, etc) among us, as well as many members hardened by progression raiding and international top level competition in leagues and national teams in other genres. Our officers has years of experience in leadership and organisation, both online and offline, ensuring a stable, calm and constructive environment for all members.
Live footage will be released in due time. We have no need for forum and YouTube PVP to cover up shortcomings or create baseless hype -- we know where we stand.
