About Us
- We run a dual guild system in our community. Blacklisted is for hardcore gamers who are looking for a competitive edge, and Karma is for those who enjoy a more casual and laid back atmosphere.

- Our members thrive on competition and teamwork. We realize that everything in life requires balance to be successful. This is exhibited by supporting our members in and out of game. At the end of the day it's only a game, and accomplishments are meaningless without friends to share them with.

- Blacklisted is primarily focused on PvP, but is dedicated to clearing PvE content as well. Our competitive members realize that teamwork is critical to success, but so is dedication and independence. We do not spoon-feed or carry people through a game. Our goal is to build a tight-knit community that offers a high level of performance.

- Karma's structure revolves around PvX, and promotes a sociable atmosphere for casual gamers to enjoy a wide array of content. We do have expectations of our casual members as well, but the bar is set a little lower to allow members to progress at their own pace.

- It's important to understand that we do not mass recruit. We take much pride in the quality of our community, and have systems in place to protect it.

There is more to be said about the success of a guild aside from Server Firsts and Rankings. There is also a difference between being an elitist and a douchebag. Our leadership does its best to weed out those who are causing drama and negative energy within the community. We do not follow the "survival of the fittest" mentality by walking over each other, forming cliques, or degrading other members. Any goal can be achieved with the right amount of teamwork, morale, and constructive criticism.

Social Atmosphere
It is not uncommon to see 20+ people talking in the same Ventrilo channel. We are energetic and have a twisted sense of humor. Officers and members blend very well together, and we do not pull rank unless it is required. It is recommended that you wear a headset if you have young children around as this is not a G-Rated community.

Utilizing The Website
Members should check the website frequently. There are forums for game discussions, events, and other announcements. Important updates will always be posted on our website. Keeping up to date on events and other news will make your experience more enjoyable.

TeamSpeak 3
All members are required to own a mic/headset, and download our voice program. All communication is transmitted verbally. Not only does this contribute to the effectiveness of our strategies, but it adds to the overall excitement of our experiences.

Computer Requirements
Many people overlook the importance of hardware. A world renowned surgeon is useless without his equipment. The same goes for a skilled gamer who doesn't have a computer that can handle the stress of a game. We do not require everyone to have a state-of-the-art computer, but we do expect you to be able to play at a high level of performance. No one likes to play with the guy that crashes every few minutes and has a max of 5 fps in an empty map.

Guild Events (Semi-Mandatory Attendance)
We love to host guild events. This is a great way to bond as a guild and break up the traditional grind and repetition of a game. In the past we have held PvP tournaments, mini-games, raid nights (both in PvP and PvE), and other guild-wide activities.

We do not force people to be online at certain times no matter how important an event is. Real life always comes first. However, we do expect you to be logged in and ready to participate for events that you do attend. We also expect you to show up for any events you sign up for.

All members are expected to know when to settle down and get **** done. We encourage an energetic and fun atmosphere, but all members are required to listen to commands and execute them when asked. Guild events are not the time to be rebellious or too vocal. It is a time for us to work as a team and focus on the task at hand. Disrespect and failure to follow directions will not be tolerated.

Need Before Greed
Those who participate in an event have the option to roll for loot on a Need Before Greed basis. It has always been a policy of ours to put the guild first. We do not use a DKP system.

Crafting System
Ensuring that all members are well equipped and prepared for battle is a crucial. This includes gear, potions, scrolls, etc. Therefore, we make it a priority to institute systems that support and provide beneficial services to the guild. We usually try to keep guild crafting simple. The main goal is to make sure everyone can get what they need.

We understand that real life can sometimes get in the way of gaming, but there still has to be a line. Anyone who has not logged in for 14 consecutive days, and has not contacted anyone regarding their absence, will be kicked. Please let us know about your absence by posting it in the forum thread titled "Going Away". Members who are removed for inactivity and decide to come back should contact an officer. Understand that inactive players are only removed from the in-game roster. We only revoke membership from the community through disciplinary action.

How To Handle Personal Disputes
All of our members are expected to handle disputes in a mature manner. We require that at least one, honest, attempt must be made to resolve a conflict before going to a higher rank for help. Confronting someone directly isn't the easiest thing to do, but most problems arise from a lack of communication. Our officers do not mind offering a helping hand, but we expect our members to deal with drama maturely.

Do not use this as an excuse to bottle up your emotions and retaliate in secret. We have a zero-tolerance policy for defamation. This is defined by the false or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another, as by slander or libel. Doing so will result in immediate disciplinary action and/or removal from the community.

*Sexual Harassment will not be tolerated. This is the only time where we permit members to bypass confrontation, and go directly to a higher authority. These situations can be tricky, and must be handled with care. Being a victim can be intimidating and uncomfortable, but it must be dealt with. Please present this info. to the correct authority so that future incidents may be prevented.

We do not allow our members to join multiple guilds, as all members are expected to be 100% dedicated and loyal to Blacklisted. Members are not forced to play a game, but they are required to join us if they do choose to play. This rule only applies to games where our community has an official presence.

Application Process
- We run a brother/sister guild system. One is hardcore, and the other is for casual players.
- Blacklisted is our hardcore guild for competitive players.
- Karma is our casual guild.
- You will be contacted for an interview once your application has been reviewed.
- There is a 2-week trial policy for new recruits. We use this time to determine if the recruit should be added to the hardcore or casual guild.

* Please note that members of both guilds will share the same Ventrilo. This allows for new recruits, family, and friends to play together socially, while still preserving the quality of the competitive guild.

*All of our policies are subject to change. Failure to abide by these rules may lead to disciplinary actions and/or removal from the community.
