Okay... for the past month or so, excluding Wintersday and several days of procrasatination, I have been playing City of Heroes. And it ain't half bad.

I've been mainly running around as a Magic Scrapper, packing the Dual Blades and Dark Armour powersets... and he won't touch spandex.

For the past few days, I have pretty much done sod all. Friday, I spent all day just hitting reload on Firefox and listening to a SHOUTcast station I came accross earlier in the week. Saturday, I took the bus into town, got my mum's birthday sorted out and bought a few things for myself. When I got home, I spend several hours trying and failing to get Just Cause to run without crashing in a widescreen resolution (long story short: Avalanche are retards for not putting widescreen support into this ...

Well, it's been about 2 weeks since I put this bugger together, best report on how it's managing.

For a start... it hasn't blown up, crapped out on me or generally failed to start up apart from when the monitor drivers decided they didn't wanna play nice (Hooray for system restore, boo for repeat downloads of EVE Trinity)

After a short trip to town to pick up a few things, I began piecing together the new rig. Boy was that a rocky road.

I had to pull out the motherboard a couple of times, first because the springs on the IO Shield were blocking several ports, then secondly because I had to fit something under the board to hold the CPU heatsink, which itself proved a royal pain to fit (one lousy clip that had to be bent over the heatsink's base)
