  1. Tom Nook's Journal

    by , 14-09-2007 at 17:00 (Tom Nook's Journal)
So, this solo quest that I was talking about previously involves facing a Glacial Griffon.
It turns out that he's pretty tough. Yes, yes, I know this is supposed to be a master quest, but still.
He's a Ritualist and delights in dropping spirits that blind, interrupt and damage you.

What it doesn't have though, is any form of self healing.
So it looks as though hit-and-run tactics are the order of the day. Conditions should help too, since I can keep ...

  2. Qin Li's Journey

After asking around and several inaccurate leads, we found out that the next meeting between the clans was taking place at Gyala Hatchery, a town that I had never visited. There seemed to be more merchants here than Cavalo. Or perhaps it was the wide open Jade Sea that we hiked across that, when contrasted with the hatchery as we finally approached, the difference was more pronounced. Well, that could have been worse.

    Me - usual with Guilt
Norgu - hex eater signet instead of inspired hex
    Olias, Tahlkora, Alesia, Orion

That's right, Pointy has just finished the Primary storyline of GW:EN and the best thing is, I did it without a single PvE skill whatsoever (excluding the Blessing missions, but they were forced onto me by the mission objectives so they don't count). In fact, it's the same crappy Warrior-only build I've been using since before the armour stacking nerf.

But yeah. I'm chuffed right now. Now I need to finish Prophecies and Nightfall. <_<

Olias, Norgu, Tahlkora, Alesia, Orion, cookies+Mistrust

The powerblocking mergoyles are annoying, but oh well. I'm not stupid enough to hit through spirit shackles, and neither were Tahlkora or Norgu stupid enough for that.

    No issues.
