I finally took a break from Alia long enough to get Obsidian her new armor, so here she is:

It is frustrating to play as a monk, for a wide variety of reasons. This evening I found yet another: a quest bug that basically stopped me from finishing "Attacking the Kurzicks".

The bug was: our own moron Luxon Priest, standing outside Gyala Hatchery, spent his entire time healing the Kurzicks. Yes, that's right, this turncoat made sure any Kurzick target I called received a steady stream of heals. I noticed this when I was fighting a lone elementalist I managed to ...

Dawn (R) is hovering just under 80% of Tyria explored. I'd like to get 90% or 95%, both of which seem reasonable without resorting to the outrageous mapping tricks I've read of: necrotic traversal in the Rurik area of Borlis Pass and Dunes of Despair. As a ranger I should be humiliated to display anything less than Cartographer (90%), where of course Master Cartographer (95%) or Grandmaster is preferred.

So this evening I think I'll do some mapping. Once I get to 85% or ...

I continued my quest to get Alia 100% of Tyria. I covered the entire southern portion of the Crystal Desert (everything south of Augury). I pushed my total up to 86.8%. Again it was pretty uneventful, no good drops, did get quite a bit of gold though. :smiley:

It was outside of Thirsty when I noticed the henchies dropping the gold. I know this was listed on the boards, not sure if this is a glitch or not, but will enjoy it while it happens. Now if only they would drop other items ...

Didn't get to post it but yesterday was pretty cool.

There's a robin's nest at work outside with 4 chicks in it. Every day when I go out for a smoke I get to watch the mom and dad feed their chicks. I've been doing that for the last couple weeks. At first you couldn't really see the chicks much. Sometimes a little beak but that was about all.

Two days ago, three of the chicks were out and sitting on the edge of the nest. I knew that if I wanted any pictures (I'm a naturenut) ...
