Got my monitor back, so I started up GW and dedicated the weapons I had. Had to go out and buy the Destroyer Scythe since I was missing one weapon (I initially thought I'd get the Tormented Staff, but I have no guy that would need it and I can't be bothered to play for it) and then I was done.

Which brings up the question - assassin (again) or ranger?
I am kind of leaning towards the assassin because I REALLY can't get into the ranger in PvE, and PvP-only guys are insanely superior for PvP.

I'll probably wait a bit longer and see which guy I have more fun with.

(And deleted my necro and my old mesmer - which means I am now down to 5 PvP guys - rit, mesmer, ranger, *** and monk. I don't play the rit anymore and the other 4 are earning their survivor, so there's not really much I can do with them other than slowly advance though the stories.)




Also - not liking the new GW2 videos. The problem is that the Luxon are seriously bad. Not only in choosing their builds or playing them - but also in refusing to listen. They are fighting people outside the Fort when the winning objective is to kill NPCs inside the Fort - and nothing you say changes their mind.
I mostly end up with Dishonourable after such matches since I basically need to go AFK to display to play the game on their skill-level.

So, last night I made an assassin and entered on him - deciding to play on the skill level of my team-mates. The only thing I did differently compared to my team-mates was to constantly announce my fail in the team-chat.
By match 3 I had most of my team, the guys I played with earlier and had repeatedly reported me because I argued that we will never win due to how bad they are and that we should just resign instead because it doesn't make sense to prolong a battle if you KNOW you'll never win (the battles that they then did then continue fighting and we NEVER won), QUIT on me because they just couldn't handle the ****ty level of play I was so openly displaying.

Deleted my old ranger.
Made a warrior.
Delete the warrior.
Deleted the paragon.
Made an assassin.

I think there were some necros involved in the whole deleting thing also.
I need to delete my old assassin once I use up enough runes that my guys are currently storing.

I think I only got two guys though GWEN - most other guys just got one tapestry.

I plan on deleting my ranger also since, well, outside of his pretty, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to have him around. He sucks in PvE and in FA a mesmer does it better.
My bags are currently full of runes/weapons from my heroes/deleted guys so I can't delete him yet, plus I will most likely replace him with a dervish, but waiting for the dervish update to hit. (I kind of want to look at the pretty ancient armour, so that's why I am making him. Well, next to the fact that if A.Net does it in their tradition of their previous buffs, I expect the guy to break the game - and I want to be there breaking it when that happens.)

I am planing on remaking my warrior and assassin - I just can't figure out a name. I did come out with a name for the assassin - but it seems that Fukushima is on the forbidden list of the words.

In other news, my PC broke. Took me a few days to realize that I couldn't get it to work (XP pooped on me, my DVD drive refused to read the CD with XP on it, so I couldn't re-install it and the connection between the PC and the monitor kept crashing so I couldn't see what was going on) - forcing me to get a new one (the PC was some 5+ years old and I was just waiting for it to die on me - I was hoping that the games I want to play would come out before I'd have to buy a new one though). So hopefully this new machine will play D3, Torchlight 2 and GW2.
After that my monitor broke on me also.
And following that - my brother's PC also died.
Not to mention my friends PC.
And my stereo.
And a few months ago my laptop died.
It's like I have the electronic touch of death for things around me.

So I got the new PC and then, no idea how, I learned that my motherboard-battery might have died on me, causing the screen to stop responding as I load XP. I took the battery out and the connection stayed! I then tried to copy Win XP to a DVD - and it seems that my DVD unit can't read CD, but can read DVDs. So I was able to install XP on my old machine again and recover the data.
Too bad I already bought the new PC though. I didn't need a stronger machine, so I could have saved the cash.
Ah well, it had to be replaced one day or another.

And I managed to fix the PC just in time for the AFK-fest in Cantha. Wasn't completely lazy that weekend though since we managed to finish DoA also:


It took us a few weeks, each week doing one area, but at least we didn't have massive issues with the areas themselves. That also means I am done with PvE since I got the needed HoM statues (need to dedicate some more weapons and the minies but I REALLY hate dedicating stuff given my delete-rate, so I'll probably just wait till GW2 comes out and then dedicate stuff to push me to 50. Till then they'll be safe on my storage account. :wink:)! Which means I can now concentrate on doing the stuff I enjoy - like deleting guys and buying new outfits! :tongue:
Still, I know that I will be FORCED to tag along as my babes' tackle the stuff they are missing - we still need to finish UW and they need Urgy/Deep.
