The Adventures of Lady Rhonwyn and friends

Yesterday, Gwendydd had an adventure in Hell's Precipice. She'll tell all about it herself.

"Yesterday Ponter and I decided it was time we saved the world from that Lich. We went into Hell's Precipice to tell him that that wasn't the way things were done with me. I'm no puppet that can be used by just pulling her strings. So, I brought some nice damage skills. After killing those Mursaat with backfire, I decided they might be usefull here also. I didn't want to bring Thom with me, but he begged me to come. I caved in and took him in the party. Well, it' the last time. The only thing he can do well, is dying.

But let's not skip ahead. We entered the Precipice and encountered two creatures, Titans. When we killed one of them, he fell apart into two lesser titans. They turned out to be warriors, which I personally hate. They have a natural resistance to most of my spells. But luckily Ponter was able to hack them to pieces. The big titan also fell apart, intot the same titan as the previous one, so, I knew that titan would fall apart again also. We managed to survive that first attack and in my opinion, if we survive the first attack we'll manage the rest also. Well, I did say, "we", but Thom died. After that attack we encountered the lich, I tried to backfire him, but it didn't work.

Those Sparks of the Titans were lovely recipiants to backfire. I could cast backfire on one, and move on to the next. That first one would be able to kill himself without much help from me. At some point we encountered the seer. She ordered us to kill the Armageddon Lords.

We had another close call just after that (Thom died again), but we retreated a bit and were able to split the groups and kill them one by one. After this episode we moved on again. We didn't encounter any real problems anymore until we reached the Armageddon Lords. Ponter was able to lure the Lords out of their lava pits, while we stood back and watched. Except Thom, he followed and died.

After we had killed all three the Lords, we shifted our attention to the wandering Titans. By know, we knew how we could get them down as possible and we didn't have any problems with them (except, again, Thom, he died once more).

Next, it was the turn of the portal waiths. As they kept spamming spells, I could backfire them. Maybe I should bring echo with me next time so I have to copies of it. Because it worked like a charm.

After the portals went down, we moved on to find the Lich and Rurik. That's right, the Lich had made Rurik undead and Rurik had to follow the Liches commands even though he didn't want to. We did him a service and killed him (again). I hope he can now find the peace he should have had from the beginning and let him be happy with his lady.

This act of the Lich made me even more angry and I wanted revenge on him. So, at last, we were able to confront him. He was standing on a bloodstone and teleported himself and others from the team into the lava around us. When he teleported Ponter into the lave, while he had only about a quarter health left, I got really mad. I ressed him (as Mhenlo and Lina are to stupid to do anything but attack anyway) and attacked the Lich with all I had. He went down soon after and the vision of Glint spoke to us, saying that we had fulfilled the Flameseeker Prophecies. We had to run to a boat, because the island was about to explode and finally we arrived back in Droknar's Forge.

I kneeled at the statue of Glint there and that is where Glint told us some of the titans had already been sent by the Lich. They are a menace to all we love and hold dear, so, we must erradicate them. We will, but not just yet."

It looks like Gwendydd had a great adventure again. Now I hope she'll go out with Vaghadera more. That bird of hers isn't getting enough attention.
