Around the World . . . Eventually

Naomi has not been travelling much lately, having found a comfortable setting in the Echovald Forest. She has spent much of her time acquiring new skills, including a few Elites.
In the interest of perhaps expanding her horizons a little bit, she has dipped her toes into Restoration magic and taken a closer look at the defensive side of Communing. The latter proved especially helpful to her when she went to capture a skill from the dreaded Orosen the Acolyte in Xaquang Skyway. This foe is well-known for wiping out adventuring parties in a matter of seconds (how Naomi longs for such destructive force). But with the aid of her defensive spirits, only one or two deaths were incurred.
Naomi was impressed, and decided to keep bringing those spirits along with her. But in the end, as with the Restoration magic, she got bored. Adventuring wasn't half as satisfying when she could not send lethal doses of electricity through her enemies. Thus she has returned to the ways of the channeler, finding them more enjoyable than ever.
Back on her chosen path, Naomi felt that it was time to complete her trek to the Eternal Grove. And she felt comfortable enough to just stay there for a while, but no longer does she have the luxury of that comfort. While she had been idling, Feisha caught up to her at the Eternal Grove and simply won't stop pestering her about her past. Naomi figures that she must either complete the mission or blast her annoying fellow Wanderer into pieces. While the latter was tempting, Naomi decided that it wasn't worth the hassle she would get from the others. So, the mission it was.
She hadn't expected to have so much trouble. Oh, the Luxons and their Seige Turtles were little enough threat, though on both of her attempts they did manage to take out one Tree Singer. The problem came in the form of the Afflicted. Mobs of them poured into the grove much faster than she and the henchmen could kill them. And being what they were, when she finally did kill them, they still took out their targets.
The failures have done nothing to help Naomi's already foul mood. At the moment, she spends her time dodging Feisha and working out alternative strategies for completing the mission.
