Hi!

I never was too fond of pvp.
Simply because I like pve much better.

I find fighting real people too exciting; it's quite personal.

Last night, one of my gw-friends, with whom I have had contact ever since I started playing the game, invited me for a 1v1 match.
I figured: "I'd rather not; but hey! He wants to test a specific build, so why not give him a hand."
So I went in, with my trusted R/W character, loaded as follows:
1. Sever Artery
2. Gash
3. Whirling Defense
4. Barbed Trap
5. Fire Trap
6. Apply Poison
7. Rez sig
8. Troll Unguent

My weapons: A max damage Barbed Flamberge (of Enchanting, for no reason, got it like that), and two Poisonous bows (longbow and flatbow).

My opponent brougt a W/M, with all kinds of self heal stuf, Endure Pain, and other things, I can't remember...

He was full of confidence, "Bring em on! Come on! Fight me!", quite sure of flawless victory he was.

To make a long story short: I beat him, no sweat. My apparantly destructive combination of WD, traps, Apply Poison (sword!!), Sever Artery and Gash did the job, as it always seems to do.

My method has been debated on this site quite a long time ago. People told me to make a choice: either a sword or bows.

I am absolutely not boasting here, and maybe will never do this pvp stuff again, but boy! felt that good!!!

Afterwards, more people came to the guildhall, wanting me in their team, for a 2v2 match.
Needless to say: exactly the same thing happened. Flattened them, hands down...

Heartbeat all the way up >120/m, but it was great.
