Nikhera's GW Rantings

Hello. It's been a while.

So, two months ago, I left to Europe to go on a vacation. Which was awesome and relaxing. Now that I'm back, and incredibly uninspired by returning home and to work, I've been just keeping myself busy, grinding away at stuff.



Here's how I stand:

Norn: done all missions. Done all dungeons. Vanquished all areas. Have some quests left to complete.

Ebon Vanguard: done all missions, dungeons, areas and quests.

Deldrimor: Done all dungeons. Only need A Time for Heroes to finish missions. Need to finish quests.

Asura: Done all dungeons, missions. Finished Polymock quest chain today. Need to vanquish and do all quests.

So yeah.

For the Norn track, I am loathe to use a completed book, so after I finish all the quests, I'll see about filling out another HM hero's handbook.

For Deldrimor, not only do I have A Time for Heroes waiting, (bounty is coming next week) I also have a few bounties set aside. Namely, Justiciar Thommis and Rand Stormweaver. Selvetarm is coming up in a few days, so I'll pick that up, and if I can't manage to find a human group willing to do the other guys with me I'll just do the three bosses with heroes. That, right there, will be 7500 points not counting the things I kill. (and there is a lot of those.)

For asura, I'll do the VQs - I have a bounty for Arbor Bay sitting in my log.

After that, I'll trade in my HM dungeons guide and handbook, depending of where I stand with each title.

After that, I won't bother for a little while and jump straight to Tyrian Vanquisher. Idea being, I'll just pick up bounties as they come along to avoid tedium. Why spend time farming like crazy when taking my time will have me complete everything more efficiently?

After those, that'll be it for achievement-based titles, and I'll need Drunkard and Party Animals. After that, I should have GWAMM.

So basically, at that point, I'll switch from "must complete this" to making money. Money money money. Zaishen bounties on various characters? Probably. My assassin is pretty much geared up for SCs at this point, but I'll also get my other characters set up for whatever farms I can.

I added a few more points to my HoM. My Fellowship monument is filled out. I'm trying to get to at least 40 pts because dammit, I want the Flameseeker titles! I'm doubtful as to whether I'll be able to get to 50/50 because hello consumable titles, FoW, Zaishen, tormented weapon? Doubt I can do all of that. But 40 and whatever I can manage beyond, it's doable.

So yeah, that's what I've been up to and how I'm continuing forward. Dunno how rigorously I'll be able to work on this because soon I'll have other commitments, and GW2 is around the corner at which point I might just stop outright.
