So I'm new at this.

So as my title so aptly told you, I'm new at this blogging thing. My intent here is to provide a running dialog as a player who pretty much picks the support/heal role in every game I play.
I'm currently playing Guild Wars 2 and Tera, although the latter may fall to the wayside when GW2 launches on the 25th.
A bit of history: I played Guild Wars from its launch until about 2008 fairly regularly. I started in PvE and eventually became a regular in the PvP community - playing mostly monk and support ele (i.e. ward spam and heal party). I've always believed PvP should be skill based and not gear based, so I am of course excited for GW2 PvP.
I will play both PvE and PvP content in GW2, though be aware that my point of view comes from someone with a predominately PvP mindset.
I've also played:
WoW (5 years of priest/shaman raid healing)
FFXI (Was a Bard/White Mage)
Rift (Had a short lived career as a Cleric)
Tera (60 Priest, currently dissapointed at the lack of content)
I'm very excited for the release of Guild Wars 2 - My main will be an elementalist with an alt guardian. -I'm still torn on races for each, however. If I don't like the way i look I'm likely not to play. Also- i'm vain and I collect way too much armor. My monk needed a wardrobe storage in Guild Wars.
I'll see you in game on the 25th, that is...If I make it off the character creation screen the first day.![]()
