Fun fact: Shawn didn't like gw1 HM.
you don't like HM yet you love PvP, and you say i am screwed up....
HM and PvP are two entirely different beasts. HM was frustrating, but only because it wasn't actually more challenging - it just took longer. Once a person figures out how to proceed through HM, it's not even hard. I hero/henched most of HM in GW1. I wasn't particularly a fan of it either - it was just there as something to complete to get titles.
PvP was full of PEOPLE that could react to your decisions instantly, and to be a good player you had to be able to react to them and their decisions. You're not going to get two matches that are the same - whereas when you run a dungeon in HM, it's always the same foes and the same setup and the same choices.
But idk why I'm even bothering to try and explain, I learned a while ago that sorudo never has anything good to say about anything, and generally doesn't even understand what he's complaining about. Meh.
ok, let's make a rule, every time someone talks like a smartass thinking i don't know anything i type in my own language, let's see how much of a smarass you ppl are when you ppl lack the knowledge of a different language.
i am getting sick and tired of not being taken seriously simply because my secondary language is the part i lack in, you brought it you self, don't complain about "but this is an English forum"
It has nothing to do with the language barrier. The intent is clear regardless. For example: YOU assumed anyone who liked GW1's PvP ought to also like GW1's HM by default. This is not true, and bad thinking on your part.
People don't take you seriously because you make statements that you then cannot back up with facts. Considering there's a lot of people on this forum who do not speak english as a first language, you can't use that as an excuse to be misunderstood. We understand perfectly, your english is fine. Your ideas... not so much.
So ignoring sorudo's posts because he's yet to understand what we were implying, I wanted to touch on this a bit more.
If you're equally bad at both games, why back Ora and attempt to call people out? I mean surely you can see where I'm going here, on one thread it was all "yeah you're right, that mean ol shawn doesn't know ****! gw1 was the best!" And then come here and post "guys I dunno why I'm dying all the time.."
Surely you should reserve judgment until you know one game as well as the other? (Especially since gw2 has far more depth, something gw1 only dreamt of.)
I'm not sure I understand you.
What does me dying have to do with which game I prefer?
I still think that GW2 feels very unfinished, especially targetting and combat.
GW1 had its problems and limitations, but it had the excuse of being an old game, while GW2 was newly created to replace GW1.
What do you mean by "depth"? The much more complex combat?
