It's also nice that they recognize the game's many performance problems, and work hard to get that sorted out.
But I really wish they would finally address the really serious camera and targeting...

Beasts of the Southern Wild (6/10)
(Stop shaking that damn camera)
I'd be happy to join up with you some time. I have good memories of UW. Best if those that are less experienced with it, first read up on the quests though. UW has several of those insta-fail...
Then you didn't really conquer the Underworld, like us cool kids. Go hide in the corner and bow your head in shame. :P
I agree. That game did not get enough press and praise.
I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm not talking about stealing ideas, or copying a movie. I am talking about literally redoing a...
They are worlds apart. I liked Wrath of Khan. Granted, it's been a while since I saw it, and it is no doubt pretty dated by now. But it is a far better movie than any of the new Star Trek's could...
I think I've achieved literally everything anyone could achieve in Guild Wars. There's nothing left in that game for me to do. I've seen it all. I have a bazillion mini pets, God walking among mere...
I hated the first Star Trek by JJ Abrams, I'll probably despise this one. I heard they literally, LITERALLY, lifted scenes from a better movie. Star Trek used to be quasi-intelligent sci-fi. Now it's...
It looked to me like they had multiple people in the same room, each operating a robot of their own. But as nice as the special effects look, you can't build a movie just on that premise (unless you...
I spend a lot of years of my life playing Guild Wars 1, so it will always have a special place in my heart. Now I've moved on to GW2 like the rest of us. This news didn't came as a big surprise to...
I think I just lost more braincells watching this trailer.
They might as well have called it War of the Monsters.
Interesting. I'll check that out, thanks for the tip.
EDIT: I just found some inspiration from a classic Indian boardgame called Chaupar. In England it is known as Ludo, and in the US its known as...
Well, a more established puzzle game can of course also work. But tic tac to would be a bit too standard. That is why I was also looking at a few classic sliding puzzles. The only problem with that...
Oh, don't worry about that. My setting is a dream world, so I have the freedom to do any surreal crazy stuff that I want. This particular puzzle/game appears halfway into the first act of the game....
That sounds like a good idea. The idea of having two players compete, with pretty much the same goal, creates a mountain of ai work. Where as, if you let the player do all the thinking, you can let...
That sounds like a pretty solid approach to water movement. Should be doable. I think though that confining the water to canals might be in the best interest of the mini game, and then having players...
This is a pretty cool idea, and it fits well with the sand castle theme. Coding a system that simulates the movement of water is kind of daunting though, even if it does move in a...
I like the idea of blocking off flows of water, and I could see that working as a nice strategic mechanic. I was also considering that it might be a sort of mini boardgame in the sand. Maybe the...
I could use some input from you guys on a little puzzle I'm working on. Here's the set up: The player encounters the antagonist of the game, and they play a game that takes place in a classic...
Yeah, in my experience, more than half the people in crab-toss do not know you can hold the run skill to run further. So you'll beat those players easily.
