Ok, I am just curious what kind of high-end gear/gems/crafting materials people have found.

See, I have seen a bunch of rares, and they usually don't have any extra stats. Like I found a rare skullshield, and it was just a normal 16 armor shield.

Also, what are the rarist skill gems available at the exotic gem collector? I got Phoenix which is sick - I love it.

Also, has anyone figured out salvaging? It seems what you put in to the slots, has different effects. I was just wondering what combos people have found, that create cool crafting materials.

So anyway, brag about the stuff you have found and how you found it!

PS - I didn't realize the northern PvP place had a soloing area, but can high-end loot be found there?

Best thing I've gotten was a hammer... I've forgotton what the dmg was originally, but now it does 14-21 cold damage after customization. I crafted my helm, boots and gauntlets (platemail, 100 armor, so I've gained +60 armor combined) but the rest of my equipment is noobtacular. :D

I crafted Master Boots for my Elementist, but um.... the skirt kinda covers up the doifference of it, and its not tha tmuch of a difference anyways.

Well I can tell you my silk handwraps look really different than my starting ones. (are they called Masters? if not, where did you craft masters boots Ulkie?).

Before, I had these little brown wristbands. Now I have silverish bands that cover my whole forearm, and then have a long ribbon that tails off, and flows when I run.

Im getting craft items for some new equipment. Im running around with 450+ gold on Tyran, but nothing costs gold at the moment except gems, which I have maxed out 5 skills already.

Elemental Attunment is pretty good, +5 mana for every spell cast. I also have a Rare Serpent Wand that give me +9 to mana

I have a normal serpant wand that adds +9 energy.

Rare's stats don't seem to be in yet, unfortunately. And casters don't have access to much wand or staff variation right now.

Anyone ever seen a decent staff?

I have maxed out 5 skills already.

so how do we max out a skill? purchase a secconds etc gem for it and then go train again?

i mah have to try this :) for healing spells, would aditional levels boost the health gained?

meh...I think I've cycled through every gem type now that is available
so gem as a looot is a no go

Re: equip...still using the crap I started with, sold the Bow I got and used a wand instead that has +9 energy.

and Max SKILLS? you mean we can get multiple gems for the same skill type and TRAIN?!?? WAAAH!?!?! NOOOOOOOOO!!! I would have chucked the 4 extra skills I had on the phoenix and obsidian -- P O S!!

+11 skills since I started playing the game could have maxed Phoenix and Obsidian WAAAH!! I'm depressed now, gonna go in the corner and kill myself.

Hmm... im looking at that right now, and all I can say is I am teh stupid. :bonk:

It should say: "I have learned 5 skills."

Sorry...

However, what can help boost damage is the elemental masteries and such. Like, if you had a 12 skill in fire damage, you would do more damage with fire based spells than somone with only 8.
