Interviw to be a RA?

So update on this actual thread title. First, I had my interview today. It went overall well, there were a couple questions I struggled with (like name a time at a job you got disciplined. i made something up haha.) Anywho, so then later in the day I was talking to a friend about it, and she is very well connected among faculty (for a student). She was coincidentally spekaing with the Director of Housing and Residence life, and apparently he says there are 107 spots, but only 100 applications. Now I don't know if that counts returning RA's, but yeah. We also have Multicultural Assistants(to assist with culture I guess. its really stupid) and Community Assistants (for on campus apartments). But I only applied for RA. When my friend was talking to the director though, she told him how I was an Honors College student and how i'm on Student Senate, and I guess importantly that i'm a GUY. He replied "and he's worried??"

So i'm really excited and things are looking up!!!

an RA is a Resident Assistant. It means I get my own room (for free), a meal plan (for free), and basically I plan a program once a month for residents as well as be there for a variety of things such as inter-resident problems, campus questions, etc.

Hey now I knew what it was. I've just allways included room with board. Like boarding schools arn't room and boarding schools.

DAHAHAHA! So an update here. I was chosen as an "alternate" about 3 weeks ago. Its one of those things where everyone says "ohh, they always use the alternates, congratulations" and i'm like "ok just stop talking to me". Was I upset? For shizzle.

So then I get a phone call today from the lady in charge and she not only has a position for me, but its in one of 3 buildings that are the best on campus (come with kitchenette and shower/bathroom and one or two have wireless internet). At least I think thats what she said, I was really still asleep with this giant lisp due to my nighttime retainer hahaha.

So what does this mean to you guys? Well for one thing, as far as guild wars goes I will be back up here like 2 or 3 weeks early, and have basically an entire dorm to share with 4 people haha. So that means better internet (the internet better be on? i do not think thats something they turn off), and ill be on GW a ton more, earlier on.

Seriously, congratulations. Who wouldnt want a "room...and board" that included a kitchenette (who cares really) and a private shower/bathroom (sweet, were talking Boba Fett sweet).

Well all call starts in a few hours...I need to go start loading.
