I went to see Narnia with the missus last night, it's basically LotR for children. The gf found it "cute" and "funny" , whereas I just wanted to see some actual blood! Seriously, there's a battle between almost everyone in the land, and not a drop of blood to be seen :spy:

Hopefully all of my holiday crap will be out of the way soon. I have a holiday party on Friday and an out-of-town wedding on Saturday, but there's still hope for Sunday.

Part of my time the past week has been spent procuring and setting up my new baby...

She got her first run last night by watching The Life Aquatic. What an excellent movie, especially for checking out color and detail on a new TV.

I'm beer-dry at the moment; I have to settle for the hard stuff right now.

I pick up a few stations over cable broadcast in digital HD at the moment without any additional package from Comcast. I do get ESPN-HD for the Sunday night football games. I've seen digital versions of CBS and ABC, but I'm unsure at this point if those ones will be receiving any HD programming.

Added: The TV has both PC RGB and HDMI inputs that could be used to hook up my laptop. Maybe I should pick up a wireless keyboard to go with my mouse so I can play Guild Wars in cinematic style...

If he wants to play at the same time as you, I recommend something known as a Mickey. I don’t know anything about those new fangled things that imitate it but, the original worked well with drinks and, it even left a nasty Hang-Over to help the illusion.
