    Skill Points

Just checked out Hahnsoo's PvE guide (great stuff btw!) and had a question. I bought every single skill that the Ascalon City trainer had to offer, whereas in the guide it mentions that no skills should be purchased here since they're all available through quests. Is it pretty much impossible for me to fully complete the game and unlock all of the Ranger skills b/c I wasted skill points with the Ascalon trainer?

Nope, you can still get all the skills, after reaching level 20, you gain 1 skill point every 20k exp, so although it may take a while to get all the necessary skill points, it can still be done.

First off all, if you had to buy ranger skills from the skill trainer in ascalon city then you didn't follow all of the PvE guide for pre-searing as it means you missed some of the quests located there.

Second, it isn't impossbile to unlock all skills you'll just need to 'level' once you're past level 20 to acquire extra skill points. If you play it through like a lot of people seem to you should do this just by following through the main game story line doing all the missions.

good to know - thanks. sounds like buying all the skills in Ascalon really messed me up. looks like a ton of grinding awaits since I'm aiming for all of the ranger + emelentalist skills with this one char.
