alright, ive got a problem
i just got my gw and installed it and started making a character, but then i read that my characters will be located on the european servers, which seems obvious since i live in sweden.. but problem with that is that the guild i wanna join consists of members from america.. does that mean i cant play with them? do i have to change server? if so, how do i do that? is it at all possible?
Not completely certain. I think the option should be given while starting up your account, but you can go into "edit account" and change territories. But there's a limited number of times you can do this(I think five times total). Once you've switched servers that many times, you're stuck in whatever server you last went into.

ok, thx alot :)
You'll still be able to play with your guild members, but you'll have to do it the "International Districts" where people from different servers can meet up to play.Originally Posted by biko

but then THEY have to go there too? or can i by going there play with ANYONE on ANY server?
i'm pretty sure you can play anywhere you'd like.
since you start in the "international" servers, you can click on the drop-down
selection and click "american" servers? or something.
since i live in america, i don't know what the server selection drop-down looks
like - sorry.
You can change you region up to five (5) times. Once that 5th change is made though you will be unable to switch again.
International servers seem to be a generic area you can goto without restriction, sort of like neutral territory. Only way to get into American European or Korean servers is to change your regions via the account options.
