i just found an axe and i was thinking about trading it, but i have no idea how the current economy of guild wars is and i would appreciate some help in getting it appraised.

cruel piercing axe of axe mastery (gold)
piercing damage: 6-25 (req. 8 axe mastery)
damage +14% (while in a stance)
lengthens deep wound duration on foe
axe mastery +1 (16% chance while using skills)

I wouldn't pay anything for that axe since its not max damage but salvaging a cruel haft might get you like 1k or so.

Well, since you can get a better max damage, +15% dmg while in stance axe from one of the collectors in the desert your axe is unfortunately worthless.
