My girlfriend just got back from the US, oh my god Reese's Pieces are good.

Yesterday, I was to take one of our cars to a garage to have the right front wheel checked. I was also going to two other places and none were near the others. The garage mechanic was unable to help, so I drove to the only Chrysler dealer left in the city, and was told probably the ball joint or tie rod. Neither is cheap, but say not to drive the car since it was so bad that the tie rod could come off while driving. I tell them to do the nearest maintenance check, too. They offer me a shuttle ride home and will call with the estimate.

Our Ford F250 SuperDuty (ext cab, full box, V10, 4x4) sits around for weeks at a time since it slurps gas like I slurp down Dr Pepper. Naturally, as I am walking towards it, the lock isn't responding to the fob. At first I figure the fob is dead, but then wonder if the battery is dead. Open the door and no roof light. Try starting and it does nothing. So I spend around 30 minutes with a charger connected. Get it started and it's almost out of gas. Put in only 20 gallons which is about 3/4 a tank for $70 USD. Go about my other business and late in the afternoon, I get the bad news that it could cost up to $3,000 for everything. ARGH!!

At least I was lucky unlike a fellow TRUEbie in that I pre-ordered GW2 Deluxe before this happened.

Ugh, my motorcycle was $800 at the shop last week, and I thought that was too much.

They've hired someone else at work which has effectively cut my shifts and tips in half... More time to play I guess.

Insurance company finally got back to me on the hail damage...total loss. Car shopping starts today, woo!

But is that amount going to be enough to get a car equal to what you lost?

Probably not, but I have a bit saved up too and that will make a pretty good down payment on a much newer, much nicer car. We were planning on replacing it later this year, this just moves things up a bit, I suppose.

I want to choke the life out of this vanquinguyen person. He/she is creating one movie thread after another. Probably going to have 200 posts at the rate he is going. I go and click on new posts and it's nothing but his movies.
