BTW, in case you didn't notice the pricing on books in Canada. The price in CDN is way higher than the price in US funds. The book industry is still working on the assumption that our dollar is worth about 65 cents US. So, if there are any books you are planning on getting, do it while you're in the states. Better to pay 8 or 9 US than 12 or 13 CDN. I got a few when I was to MAine in the Spring, now I wish I'd had money to get more.

Ohh... you're in Vegas. I don't know if you're checking GWOnline while you're there but if you're looking for stuff to do besides gambling you should go check out Star Trek: The Experience. If you're into that, fo course. But my wife doesn't like Star Trek at all and she still said it was pretty cool. You could even have lunch in Quarks Bar & Grill. It's at the Vegas Hilton.
And if you're feeling a bit... sensual... you should try and get tickets to Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity. I loved that show. It was hilarous. And the Vegas version of Phantom of the Opera is worth checking out. Lots of cool pyro.
And as a warning... don't bother talking to anyone offering you something for free. Even if they offer you free cash. All they're trying to do is trap you into one of the 3-4 hour long timeshare presentations.
And if it's too hot and you don't feel like gambling still... just go play a penny slot and get some free drinks before heading back out into the heat. Casino's are air conditioned and the drinks are mostly free if you're gambling.

Hey,
It's freaking hot. Went to hotels today: did Mandelay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York and MGM. I think my favorite was Mandelay Bay, though Excalibur tickled the fantasy geek in me.
I would absolutely love to do the Star Trek experience but my friends wouldn't, so that will have to be saved for another time in Vegas unfortunately.
We are planning on seeing Cirque du Soleil's Ka or Love. Zumanity isn't quite my thing. Seems interesting but I'd rather see the other two. We are going to try and see Phantom of the Opera on Monday night.And if you're feeling a bit... sensual
Yeah, this I already knew. The place I'm staying in we actually got through our timeshare. I'm very "wise" about all of the scams going on :P
