Just curious. I was skill capping in Abaddon's Mouth (haven't been there since the SF update) and I swear the Jade bows/armors dies off more quickly than before. Is it just me or did NCSoft made adjustments to them?
I was thinking the same thing. I was finishing Iron Mines last night with my level 6 Mesmer and with 2 out of the 4 armors beating on me, they didn't come close to killing me. I remember I used to fear when the jades ran after me with my first character as I died pretty much instantly (yes, I WAS infused ;)). They do seem easier, but I cannot rule out that it's just not the fact that you are more experienced the more times you beat the game. Heck, the first time through I wouldn't believe ANYONE would try to beat the southern shiverpeak missions and beyond with characters less than level 20, let alone with characters less than level 10! Haven't had a chance to try Thunderhead Keep with my mez yet, but let's see if I find that easier or not

hehehe. I wish but no I don't think I'm better. I've already skill capped there whilst capturing skills for my other 2nd professions and this is the first time I've noticed that they've gone down sooner than a bit later. I always take the henchies along with me and use the same set of skills so that's my control group. It's either the Jades were adjusted or the henchies is now doing more damage :DOriginally Posted by The Big Joke
You put my elementalist to shame, TheSonofDarwin. heheheh. Nice :happy34:Originally Posted by TheSonofDarwin
No no, full congratulations go to Lina and Alesia for being great healers :). My elementalist though... I feel like a slight breeze will knock her down from full health to death instantly :lol:Originally Posted by Teg

I think they're easier now too... Last night I was attempting Abbadons Mouth (it was tough because we had 2 people leave and 1 freeloader, and no dedicated healer - eventually 1 more person d/c'd and we lost). I was slaughtering the Jades - I was taking each down in like 6 seconds or less. I think I've gotten better and I've improved my build as well - but I was taking down like 4 Jades in a row without going below 50% hp, and before I couldn't kill 2 Jades without help.
Either your mesmer had protective spirit or jades got wtfnerfed.

Aaaah yes, Anet again nerfing the PvE experience. I seriously wouldnt be surprised. Anyways, another instance of what I think mgiht be super nerfing was Justiciar Hablion. Was His personal guards always THAT easy? I mean, 3 months ago, when I was doing the mission for the very first time, he alone can solo some of the team, but now he can barely dent anyone.
I don't know about that... The only time I actually completed that mission, some few months ago, I went in with Alesia and Dunham and didn't have a problem whatsoever... wasn't really tough, that muppet. :pOriginally Posted by Catching Zees
That said, wouldn't mind the Jades hitting a bit less. ;)

I think the Jades have gotten a little easier, but then their strength has always varied depending on where you are IMHO. In Thunderhead keep, Iron mines and abaddons mouth they seem easier. Ring of fire and wandering around ice floe they seem to be a lot nastier.
They have also seemed to buff Mursaat Necromancers tho.
I guess it also depends on what you are using against them. Physical attacks dont seem to dent them much(high AL) whereas fire/lightning takes them down in no time.
Basically I think they have HP on the lower end of the L22 scale, but a lot higher AL.
