i was online yesterday when the frog & gaile appeared, and asked them if the observer mode will also include a replay function (saving battles for later review). the frog didnīt answer, gaile said something like "observer mode is for observing". uh-oh. that doesnīt sound like a full replay function...
just pointing out why this would be very usefull:
- review your own battles to see what could be done better
- post replays on websites to discuss strategies and get tips
- put replays of battles on your guild website, so visitors can instantly see your guild in action
- collect your best battles, to show them to your friends, brag, etc. ^^
some of you probably know stuff like that from realtime strategy games like warcraft3, itīs pretty common there.

btw donīt tell me to use fraps, thx >_<
That would actually be an excellent feature. I'd love to study how top guilds play, without having to stay up at 4am to catch them (if in a different time zone).
Oh, you were referring to observer mode, haha.
When I saw the name of the thread, I thought it was going to be about replaying any of the cinematics throughout the game. That would be awesome, cuz then we could watch the best ones over and over again :surprise:
I was kind of expecting to be able to save replays too. Watching what's happening in the Hall of Heroes right now might be fun, but observing saved, nonlive games has so much more potential.
