    Analyze This

    6x w/r

    eviscerate*
    penetrating attack
    executioner's strike
    IWAY
    tiger's fury
    charm animal
    EoE/winnowing/predatory season/sprint
    Rez

    1x nec/e

    tainted flesh*
    well of profane
    well of suffering
    putrid explosion
    maelstrom
    glyph of lesser energy
    death nova
    rez

    1x n/mo

    order of the vamp*
    order of pain
    awaken the blood
    heal area
    healing breeze
    orison of healing
    stirp enchant/demonic flesh/blood renewal
    rez

    The typical IWAY build.

Now let's take a moment to analyze the build as i have seen some other builds analyzed.

"rofl 6 warriors what a noob build!"
"lol this build sucks, throw dirt ftw!"
    "shielding hands/aegis/guardian and ur useless"
"no monks how do u plan on staying alive?"
"no snares, how will u kill when u cant even hit them?"
"lack of condition/hex removal.... nough said"

Anyways those are just some things people might have said when they saw the "rough draft" of iway before it was introduced as the FotM. However, now IWAY runs rampant in tombs and i have seen a lot of good iways around. on paper the build looks like crap, but in-game the build is very good.

The point of this post was to show that a build's usefulness can't be determined on paper. Rather only by playing with the build can one truly see its full potential and capabilities. So i urge everyone, the next time u see a build, dont just bring up counters and deem it worthless, but try it out first :happy14:

That isn't the "rough draft" of iway. That is the stupid and over played iway. Originally Iway had zero pets (no need) and had good players. Now its just a joke and is almost as annoying as the 7-8 trapper groups that have sprung up to combat them.

You wonder why koreans consider most non-guild American teams free fame...

a mesmer with Fevered Dreams (E), Soothing Images and/or Sympathetic Visage

a necro with Spiteful Spirit(E), Enfeebling Blood, Shadow of Fear

6 spells... + 1 spell/skill for blind and the effect?

    6 warriors asking...
why do i have no Adrenaline?!?!
how am i ganna use my axe skills?
why am i attacking so slow?
why am i doing so little damage?
    why am i losing energy?
why am i taking 37 damage every second?
    why can't i hit?
    why is everyone blinded?

and i didnt even add wards or aegis yet...

lol maybe people lose to IWAY because they dont understand the power of mesmers and necros? i play Ele, but i like going full mesmer sometimes...

IWAY is good... good at killing pugs... good at dying to the rest :winking47

i dont think they're smart enough to even ask that.
    its more like:
*sits there and watch the enemy's life bar go up and down*
    'errrr...'

Who the **** is using Awaken in an order nec. :(

Look at the skill description. U will gain more dmg for some sec. But u will loose way more life and have to regain. Over time u will loose to much dmg.

Same goes for the other char builds.

Instead of taking 6 similar w/r u should build up 6 w/r for diffrent prupose.

And for the spirits. Take more then just thouse 4. Their are way to many usefull spirits to get to be wasted.

Then thouse who laugh in the preview posts would cry.

u guys seems to be missing the point of the post. ok so the iway build sucks, i dont care. the point is that on paper iway looks like crap but it can be a successful build if used correctly. the post isnt even about iway, its just to ask people to stop judging builds without testing them.

    Actually, your post was wrong.

All those "paper" flaws to IWAY counter it exactly as predicted and that is why no one ever loses to IWAY. The only reason anyone ever lost to it was the damage surprised people and some smite balls were too stupid to bring antiwarrior skills.

In short, IWAY beat even worse PUGs.

how is iway bad if it got a lot of players to rank 3 very fast? i have seen iway groups do very well in tombs (gvg is another story).
