Dying Scar Patterns

I want to dye my scar patterns silver. I have heard that there is a problem when using dye on a scar pattern. Does silver dye have this problem too? Is there a certain mix I should use to get silver? or is it like a chaos axe where I have to dye it a completely differnent color to get silver? Well thanks for any help!

I am 99% sure it becomes silver, but.. , anyways these are the colors I know:

red dye - blue scar pattern
yellow dye - pink scar pattern
purple dye - aqua scar pattern (light blue/greenish)
green dye - looks the same as no dye
blue dye - light green scar pattern
black dye - black scar pattern

I dyed my scars silver using ... silver dye :p

I dyed my scars black and it looks silver :(

I died my face scar pattern with Black Dye and it becamse blue.

Are 15k and normal scar pattern dyes different?

Also in location like face, will its dye color be different from an arm scar pattern?
