New NVidia Driver NOT compatible with GW, or is it just me?

I can't get GW to work on my BFG 6800GT OC using this driver. When I load the game, the textures are completely messed up and show up in square or rectangular patches where certain spots of rocks or differnt colored grass should be. You know how when you take an aerial view of the land, and farmland looks like odd patches? Well, everything from the outposts/cities to the instanced zones look like this. When I minimize the game and then enlarge it, it sometimes reverts back to the correct rendering of the textures. Utterly horrible. This happened right after I installed my new 74GB Raptor HDD, so I thought it was either the HDD or my installation of windows...thus, forcing me to spend about 2 nights of sleeping at 5am, uninstalling and reinstalling differnt programs and components...until I finally reverted to the previous NVIDIA driver 78.01, which came out a couple months prior to the 81.85 version. Now everything works fine.

Anyone else experience this texture problem with this specific driver?

I experienced the same problem with the new drivers. Had to revert to 77.77 ( since that was the driver i was using before i upgraded to the new 8x.xx drivers ) and everything became normal again.

Same uneven texture of the rocks and pastures as you. Maybe it's just us but i can't find anyone who had the same problem until you came along.

This problem has its own thread. It's been beaten to death. It's even in the realease notes for the drivers that there are known issues with GW.
