Why does everyone use 1.5k enchanters gloves dyed black? 0.o

Because,
a) 15K/FoW gloves don't look that much different from 1.5K,
b) most people like enchanters for the extra energy, and
c) black goes with everything.
I have a pair of silver gloves (also 1.5K enchanters) that I bought to go with my silver attire. When I bought rouges 15K the silver gloves looked funny so I bought a new pair and dyed them black. When I switched back to my silver armor, I decided that the black gloves actually looked better than the silver ones (since I'm also wearing a black skirt), so now I keep the silver gloves in storage and wear the black ones all the time.

If I could make some white gloves (not puke grey) I'd be doing that. I tried it once and didn't like it at all. I wish they're make a true white dye. It's so hard making some colours with mez armour, the base colour comes through so strongly.

Shan's gone Goth for a short while(at least while in Kurzick territory)
BTW one change from the FPE is that the Lux/Kurzick 1.5K armor now needs jade or amber.

Nice! The black dye job looks great on the armor. I didn't realize we could bring our Ascalon characters to Factions. I know this isn't the place to ask, but can you bring them back to the Ascalon campaign after you've gone over to Factions? If anyone can PM, thanks. Rogue attire 15k , noble hose, leggings 15k , courtly gloves 1,5k - all black :)
