Incindiary bonds works on bosses now, but the damage is garbage on all enemies. The best I got out of it was 19, and that was on a mob weak against fire. Most mobs were reducing my fireball from 120ish to 100ish, and most were reducing my incindiary from 85ish to 9ish.
Jeez Anet, heard of a little thing call PLAYTESTING? 5 seconds with that spell will tell you something ain't right.

Only 23 damage? wow...that must be bugged.
No wonder I used it last night and I thought that was good enough to spike a dying mesmer and it was the "burning effect" that got her. I was like "where was that +80 damage?"

Good. It's not just PvE. It might actually get some attention.
Is lightnign surge similarly fixed/broken?
damn i used that spell quite a lot on the farming outside GF.
It was very useful the way it was delayed but if theres a bug i just wont use it. i rarely use a fire build now
Wow...this reminds me when the first patch about monsters running from aoe came out. I had a blast running to droks with my ele for that night that it was out. Ward against Foes made things run like the wind. It was sad. I hope they fix this faster than last time a bugged skill like Thunderclap came out. :(

Lighting Surge works fine...after 3 secs it gets the damage and it does not have armor penetration.

The latest update seems to have actually fixed Incendiary Bonds. I tested it on the Enchanted Armors and Bows outside of Dunes of Despair and it did doube or triple what it was doing a couple of days ago. Thank you ANET for the fix! :xmas17:
