    The game Val vs. LuM however didn't have any impact on the tournament, and that was clear from the beginning. That didn't stop both teams from fighting very hard though. ;) After all, being a regional champion is an honour in itself.
    Hm? I don't get that. As fas as I know the highest seeded guilds were gonna receive a bye in the first round. So shouldn't that in theory be EviL and WM? Or, if it's region specific: EviL and Te? Or are WM and iQ now 'higher' seeded because of their wins?

    The two regional champions with the best ladder position receive a bye in the first round of the world cup.

    When Val and LuM were playing, it was already clear that neither of them could receive a bye, because on the ladder they ranked behind the Korean champion (WM, rank 7), and behind both possible American champions (Te and IQ, rank 6 and 10).
