I havent seen like this guide before so i decide to make a little one just for those who LIKE permanent presear chars. Maybe this will help to figure out how do do a "High Level" character.
The Start ;
The start is always easy job, first of all think which char should fit for Permanent Presearing. I decided to make a Necro (Later i did Warrior) but any character is ok for this.
How to Level? ;
The thing about Perma Pre is NO QUESTS, until your pretty high level (Mostly lvl 15 will be good to start make quests cause of hard experience points)
I did like this my 2 Perma characters;
At lvl 1 to 6 : I started on lvl 1 doing Gargoyle runs, but i prefer killing Undeads on Oberan the Relived (Or what was hes name?) Killing Cadavers and Restless is good experience for you and pet if you got it. Also doing by lvl 1 to 5 making Firestorm quest is easy exp gaining but no good money/dyes as Undeads, but makes the same.
At lvl 6 to higher : 6 to 7 lvl is little harder but nothing problem, as killing lvl 3 monsters (Like Hulking Stone Elementals, Ice Elementals or Undeads)
Its slower part but you can do it easily.
Charr Time! ; I started doing charr hunting at lvl 7 with one of my Friend
(And he can solo em easily!). Warrior is the best for solo these, and yes, i know you cant solo it cause you cant open the gate, aiight. Just get someome to open it, unless there is a "New player" that want get some free exp, I dont like em tho..
The rest time is only making charrs, it might taste like wood but nothing special cant do, charrs drop a good drops like dyes/money/purple stuff and even runes (Too bad cant salvage em to rune)
Hope this helped someone by making Presearing bit cooler, id like it have to say.![]()

seems good. i will try it out, but i'll probably create an elementalist for this
My g/f and I usually do Ranger and Monk...once you get to certain level and specialize your limited skills, you can solo easily.
Consider getting yourself the ranger pet quest earlier on. I think you will genuinely find that your pet, even without Beast Mastery, is quite useful. If you happen to have the dough and the time, you can pay a trustworthy person to help level up a wolf -- effectively giving you your own personal Panzer Tank.
i find anouther good training spot for the lower levels is outside for ranik killing all the scales, since there are usually hordes of them u don't have to go far for good exp i got to lvl 9 doing this in a few hours
Start an E/Mo. Get firestorm, symbol of wrath, and shielding hands.
Activate the prot monk skill quest, and the bandit quest from Baron Egan.
Start farming the bandits that are part of those quests.
I leveled to 8 easily just slaughtering that pack of 12 or so plus that bandit leader. Aggro the bunch and cast shielding hands as they get close. Follow immediately with firestorm then symbol of wrath. As you level, focus on fire. Eventually, they will all be dead before shielding hands even ends.
You guys have listed good spots for fast leveling, really cool.
As you and i have seen there can level everywhere with just simple stuff, glad to hear some comments.![]()
The only reason I kept a character in pre-searing was (*gasp!*) because I liked it. So I just explored, and killed things, and explored some more.
I brought my monk to level 9 fairly quickly, then did quests. I didn't do the same thing over and over and over again, because that wasn't the point of being in pre-searing. To me, anyway.
At level ten I started doing Charr hunting, and my monk is now level twelve. I stopped because I got bored, and have recently been playing characters in post.
So if I'm the only one who isn't looking to "fast level" in pre, so be it. But I found it much more enjoyable to just roam around than kill the same group over and over.

If you reach lvl 15, get a lvl 20 pet, how? Easy, outside the abbey, in the village is a res shrine. Aggro the strider, go to the shrine, let it kill you, unequip armor, go afk for 10+ hours, go back, he's lvl 20 and you can charm it ;)
Or if you don't like striders, aggro the 3 wolves and lure them to the guard at the gate (pretty hard), let them kill the guard, lure 1 wolf as close to the shrine as you can. Let him kill you, run back towards him, and lure him further to the shrine (he will not reach it unless you die by him first)
