How do you make movies of in game action?

I know this question doesn't below here but I've seen people post videos of farm runs and such, I was wondering what program do you use to do that?

Fraps is not good. Fraps is only for in-game fast recording. If you play and record, thats putting 20mb on ur harddrive every second. Hurts ur harrdrive like hell, dont do it too often.

I have found Fraps ok , Use Windows Movie Maker to reformat your movie to a reasonable size afterwards or you end up with huge files.

    Game Cam Lite - Free
Windows Movie Maker (for editing) - Free (if you have Windows, it should be on your system)

Yes it records the movie in UMCOMPRESSED avi format, thats why the disk space. I usually use virtualdub to recompress it to DIVX or other formats. FRAPS is still good.
