Maybe a Necro oddity...?

Wanted to do some small scale farming in the Ring of Fire mission with my iNecro. I've been doing it off and on with my iMonk with some small success, but I wanted to see if my Necro could accomplish the job more efficiently.

Now, there are only nine melee mobs at the beginning of the mission and it takes a few minutes with my Monk to take them all down. I use the standard Mo/Me build and things go pretty well. My N/Mo build is also the standard one used by most folks, so I thought that it too would have little issue with the area....boy, was I wrong.



You'll see that I don't have the usual enchantments up for these two shots. I was attempting to "troubleshoot" the problem by using/not using certain skills, but no matter what I tried, Spectral Agony decimated my Necro, while my Monk had zero problems with the spell. As you can see, I had -10 Degen on my Necro and nothing close to that on my Monk.

Anyone else experience this weirdness on any of their characters?

I'm not belittling your intelligence or anything but could it be that you forgot to put points in healing?

That armour not infused sounds likely as well.

evenfall was 100% correct....my armor was hosed. Over 2000 hours, and I still make the dumb mistakes.

Could have been worse... you could have gone to try and beat Thunderhead Keep without being infused. At least here you don't have any party members to annoy because of your forgetfulness

Erm. Guilty. Luckily I had my old infused armor with me (I had just bought 15k) and switched out after I realized the problem. Though I only realized when the monk in our group stated "Why the hell can't I keep you alive?"
