Pet Attack Speed

I tried searching the forums, but I get a failed resources page. Is there a change in the pet attack speed? Do ... spiders for example attack faster than little hogs?

Everything attacks at the same rate. Bears have a higher average attack speed because of the long wind-up time for Brutal Mauling that they occasionally use (which so far seems to have no benefits).

The Moa Bird is the only pet with a faster attack speed, at 1.6 seconds per attack. This disappears with leveling, however, such that at level 20 the attack speed falls to 2.14 seconds per attack like the others (except the poor bear).

I'm not so sure bears attack faster, ever. BM does slow them down though. Averaged over time, they have a much slower attack rate than the other pets.
