Ideology:
- Earth Shaker + Belly Smash for serious initial AOE damage
- Crude Swing during blind to prevent interupt
- Earth Smasher + Aftershock for post engagement damage
- Bonetti's/Glad's make up for our lack of shield, As does belly smash
- WY/Earth Armor to make up for lack of Shield
As of the update Crude Swing does ALOT more damage than before (1...20 compared to 1...8 prepatch).
Im not a good equipment person so any item suggestions?
Actually, I would do something like this:
Strength: 11+1+3
Hammer: 11+3
Healing: 8
Skills:
Dolyak Signet
Defy Pain {E}
Counter Blow
Belly Smash
Crude Swing
Bonetti's Defense
Mending
Sprint
You should be able to have Dolyak Signet and Defy Pain up all the time. With the new update, Defy Pain costs only 6 adren, so you hit every 1.75 seconds, and it takes 10.5 seconds to charge it up, which is less than the 12 second duration of Defy Pain. This way you have +60 armor all the time, and 300 more health. Mending should be able to keep you alive if you're not taking on the whole world *cough*
Use Counter Blow to knock down enemy, Belly Smash to blind, and Crude Swing to deal damage.
Use Sprint to avoid enemy mobs.

definately viable, but bonetti's duration would suck... however i could see it being utility to Crude Strike in that layout...

Good point, lol, I had points in tactics originally, and changed it, but forgot to take out Bonetti's...maybe a 5-second Bonetti's would be okay....

No wait, Belly Smash has a 30 second recharge, but only blinds for 9 seconds...hmm...

I'd say use a build with whirlwind to knockdown all enemies around you so u can use crude swing safely... mass up on earth armor skills, any armor skills, enough so you take NO damage whatsoever..
no points in air magic, only for whirlwind
maybe 9 or ten in earth
about max hammer mastery
some in tactics, for bonettis
some in strength for dolyak
use whirldwind to knockdown and be safe
crude swing for adrenaline
bonettis
rinse repeat..
u can use another skill just after u used crude swing to deal mroe damage, but u cant use crude swing without leading with bonettis or whirlwind.. otheriwse itll be interupted. which makes u a dead hammer warrior.
Please explain the general term 'easily interruptable'...
what does that mean, "If you take damage while using this skill it ends?"
