Actually alot of the great boon/prot monks never use a 20/20 Prot staff. Before the OoB sacrifice was increased many would use blood 20/20 staves, offhands and the like over the prot 20/20 staff. Now I have seen a shift to Inspiration 20/20 offhands and negative energy sets to counter e-denial builds and the shift to E-Drain and Mantra of Recall Monks.

Additionally it is so easy to just roll a 20/20 prot staff like was mentioned. Why spend money to accomplish the same thing that can be done for free (once the mods are unlocked).

Because green items usually look different. Why to use 15k or FoW armor? Because they look different.

Most PvP players really don't care how their toons look. That's very much PvE mentality IMO.

Agreed. For the longest time I thought 15k armor was the stupidest thing, but one day I noticed I had 72k and nothing to spend it on.

    Now I have 2 sets of 15k
