I hope this thread goes here

    Hello,

I am redoing my account. Adding Factions to get 6 slots and able to have characters cross over.

I am planning the following and would like reactions and comments from the master build builders in the game.

I am a PVE player 99.99% of the time

    1) Assasin/Necro = Pop in attack pop out and heal self
Critical - Dagger - (Curse or Blood depending on area I am in)

    2) Ranger/Assasin = Expertise makes attacks cheaper
    Experise - Critical - Dagger

    3) Mesmer/Necromancer = (My goal level 20 in PRE)
Domination - Illusion - Blood (May look for a level 20 in pre equivalent in Factions.)

    4) Assasin/Monk = Attack and heal self with better healing (I hope)
    Critical - Dagger - Heal

    5) Warrior/Monk = Possible runner / money maker
    Tactics - Strength - Protection

    6) PVP or experimental slot.

    1. Does it sound fun to you?

    2. You are making 2 Assassins? couldn't you just switch the Secondary later and unlock a bunch of each's skills? May be more work but then it frees up a slot to make another character.

One question I keep thinking about you might bear in mind. There will be a bunch of new quests that will give skills in Cantha. How many of these quests are obtainable to those of us who come over from Tyria is uncertain at this point, but it stands to reason that there will be a few. Now if you took a different secondary than you ran through Tyria with, chances are you will get a lot more of those skills unlocked through quests. Thus we may be able to unlock the majority of 3 classes with one character by changing secondaries for each continent.

So youre makeing ans assasin/necro -daggers, a ranger/assasin - daggers and assasin/monk - daggers?? I understand you really like assasins, but come, dedicateing 3 slots for 1 type of class (yeah 1 is a ranger, but you'll still be playing like an assasin...). Kinda stupid IMO. When you have limited number of slots, and can freely change your secondary, don't waste slots on 3 identical play styles..

I was wondering about the possibilities of a Monk/Assasin combination as well. Call it a teleporting touch healer...

Gonna try one of those when I get my keys, but I need 1 MORE slot to get all the builds I want. (Rats, I think the Wa/Necro buys it...)
