I'm sorry if this has been posted already, I glanced through the threads of the Lore Forum but couldn't find any evidence that this was old news although it probably is:
i highlighted some symbols which appear to be arrows pointing from a specific part of the border area between the desert and ascalon, am I just being stupid or is this further evidence that this is the path the Ascalonians took to reach the desert?
What did you highlight? I don't see anything. Can you make it clearer, or the image bigger?
oh sorry, cant make it bigger without distorting things, one the right side of the map i darkened two black arrows, u can tell by the fact that its different from the light brown of the other markings in the area its right where the mountains between ascalon and the crystal desert are
Can you provide an unaltered version of the image so I can compare?
As it stands now, I don't see much there...
here's the unedited
the area im talking about is east of the river, south of the moutains, on my screen i can see a bunch of arrows pointing into a hole
Ah, yes! I see it now. It does appear that those arrows are indicating some sort of hole or passage.Originally Posted by Seyfert
Good find! Also, the river to the west, it isn't there on the current map. Perhaps it is another possible route?
u're right can't believe i didnt see that earlier lol, also do u notice how just to the right of the fire islands there appears to be some disturbance on the water? looks like anouther landmass possibly with mountains
Like rain on a summers day...![]()
This is taken from the Guild Wars manual. Unfortunately it appears the arrows are just a depiction of one of the deserts more annoying residents![]()
Also the river does appear in the Shiverpeaks, though it is frozen over. I've marked it out below for clarity.
EDIT: I missed a bit of the river, but you get the idea

*chuckle* Good eye, Seyfert, even although if it didn't turn out what we thought it was.
