Is there such thing as a Ranger/Assassin Ranged Build?

Title speaks for itself. Is there a good Ranger/assassin build that focuses on ranged combat?
If you wanted to make the best Bow user what would be a good build.
Im a total noob to GuildWars....
    Thanks

Actually there was R/a (or was it A/r? what ever not the point) that used apply poison, bleed attacks, and assassin hexs and what to spread degen around to various ppl with bow attacks, sounded pretty nice.

I can brainstorm a few ways that a Ranger and Assassin can synergize. This is all limited, though, by the amount of Attribute points that you can spend... already, you are going to be spread thin with Marksmanship and Expertise investments. Still...

    1) Evasion skills - Rangers have a lot of dodging stances. Assassins have a lot of teleport skills. The two can be combined to create a supreme evader, capable of not only evading attacks, but getting out of trouble easily and keeping at a distance. While Escape (Elite) is probably the penultimate combination of the two, you can liberally use the Shadowstepping skills to get out of trouble and to keep your opponent on his/her toes. They don't require very much investment in attributes, either. Death Charge is probably a really bad idea for this build, of course...
    2) Legolas 2.0 - Finally, people will be able to fulfill their LotR fantasy of having a character who can use a bow and dual-wielded knives. Is this good or bad? First of all, I doubt you'd be able to use both weapon modalities effectively, so you'd have to stick with one or the other (maybe swap them in town when you get bored or a mission calls for more ranged combat or something). In just talking about Daggers, there is strong evidence that you'd be able to take advantage of a Ranger's Expertise combined with the combo attacks to rapidly pull off high-Energy Dagger Mastery combinations. It's something to keep in mind, especially with the high Energy costs of Temple Strike and whatnot.
    3) Better Cripples - Snare is a lovely addition to the Ranger repetoire of crippling, but Assassins have quite a few excellent crippling or snaring attacks and spells. This would require an investment in Assassin attributes to be effective in the long term, but you wouldn't have to worry about your Cripple bow attacks hitting, replacing them with the Assassin skills. And of course, there's Siphon Speed.
    4) Speaking of Cripple... - Assassins are just about as good as Rangers and Necromancers at applying conditions. Having more ways to degen or blind your opponents is a good thing. I'd still stand by Throw Dirt as my main blinding skill (few skills are better), but consider Apply Poison with bleeding dagger attacks.

I don't know, I'm still wrapping my mind around the possibilities. But there is a nice combat-oriented skillset available in the Assassin skill lines. The main restriction, I think, is those wonderful skills that are gimped for rangers, being part of the Critical Strikes line.

Hmm, you could try Viper's Defense to annoy those wammos while you shoot them to death :)

And one of those Assassin skills that let you shoot BLANK skills or BLANK seconds that can't be blocked or evaded..

I think you'd be better off using either dagger alone or both

I find that a Ranger/Rt is more effective than Ranger/Assassin since u can cast spirits that i think is better
