Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.
Ok, you summon a flesh golem, it dies, you can summon another from it's corpse - right? Ok then.
Summon a flesh golem, a random monster dies and you summon another flesh golem to kill the first and start a new one (low health, low level - whatever). This uses the random monsters corpse, but it ALSO exploits your previous flesh golem's corpse as well. So instead of, say, being able to summon another fiend or something from my golem's corpse, this effectively exploits two corpses in one shot.

::Shrug:: So animate bone fiend first, then animate flesh golem...
If you amimate another flesh golem yes it does turn your current into a explioted corpse. Maybe its like a punishment for making another one?
Well that's all fine and dandy if I didn't have a reason for summoning another flesh golem at the time... like, one of the six hundred times it gets stuck on things. I'll just have to eat it to death until they fix it.Originally Posted by donotusethisusername

res golem and 9 other minions, shambling/bone/etc... send them in to fight. when the golem dies and you animate a new one, as long as the first golem corpes is outside your aggro circle it doesnt get exploited. I'm not sure, is this supposed to happen?
Animating a golem after the death of the first isn't going to automatically target the body of the first. It would use whichever body is closest to the MM. So, if there were two bodies on the ground, one being a dead flesh golem, and the other being some other fleshie creature, and the MM casts Animate Flesh Golem, whichever body is nearest the MM at that time will be the one that is exploited.
Or, did I misunderstand? :)

no no, as far as I know and from what I used to experience before. Anet changed it a month or so after Factions was released so that the Golem corpes is automatically exploited if you animate a new one (to prevent that Golem factory exploit in HA) The new Golem didn't have to be animated from the older Golem corpse for that to happen.
At least that's what I'm used to. This was a new thing which I just noticed today. animating the new golem leaves the old golem corpse unexploited and you can animate a new minion from that one too (provided the old golem corpes is outside the aggro circle).
I don't play MM that often so I'm just wondering if this is a new feature which I missed or it's been there since the start?
Edit: To make it clearer (sorry, not a native english speaker).
Even if you animate a new golem from a corpes which is not that of the old golem, it used to automatically exploit the old golem corpse (so it was kinda like using two corpses to get one golem). It's somehow not working that way if the old corpes is outside your aggro circle.
Ok, I think I'm repeating my self too much now. probably sound crazy. bleh...
