Wanting to change Guild alliegence... now what?

Currently we are alligned with the Luxon. Our Guild would like to switch to Kurzick.

We have 19,000 worth of Luxon Faction attached to our Guild. When ever I speak with the Ambassador at the Kurzick capital he mentions the oath (all is good) and then mentions the 500g fee, he then takes the money only to give it right back and our Guild is still alligned with Luxon.

What must be done to change a Guilds faction from one to the other? Is there away that the Guild Faction can be spent or removed? Does it require that the Guild Members earn Kurzick Faction and then cash it in and this will bring down our Luxon Faction? Is this a major bug and it is not allowing me to switch? Do I need to speak with some tech-support over at ANet or something?

Any ideas, suggestions, comments or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A few days ago I obtained 5000+ faction with the Kurzicks and was then able to switch the alliance of my Guild from Luxon to Kurzicks.

We lost all of our 18k + Luxon faction and then ended up with 5000 faction of Kurzick and I retained all the faction I had attached to my account.

Anyone else that was interested in changing their Guild from one faction to another should now know what they are suppose to do.

If you are the head of an Alliance you will need to remove all the other Guilds from your alliance before you change from one faction to another, if the other Guilds are wish to join your change, they will need to change alliances too.
