Why did anet go and make this merchant so bloody useless?!
Well one more guild suckered into paying a 100 plat for a P.O.S merchant that doesn't sell any factions skills. All our new Ritualist and Assassin chars are just sittin around scratching their heads at how ANET actually thought this would be a good idea.
Two things I want to know here.
First, Can we get a 'Full' refund for this merchant.
Second, is can this be changed or updated with a mission or something. For instance perhaps a npc somewhere in cantha sends you on a mission, after completing it you can access factions skills at your skill trainer...
Ahh well, soon as the anet team gets back from E3, I hope something is done about this, cause i'm not gonna stand to let this issue slide. It does not ruin a game by being able to access all the regular skills. I still have to hunt and cap elites, and by god, every prohecy skill was unlocked years ago using faction. Why would I want a prophecy only skill trainer in my guildhall!!!
Been wondering precisely the same things myself.
From what I hear, it's not even Prophecies...just Core skills.
IIRC it is only 'core' skills. I think they did that if someone didn't have factions or prophicies... Meh wasted 100K.It's only pixels afterall.

i support the idea to include Faction skills it would be a 2 thumbs up :)
It should support all Core skills, plus any skills you have unlocked.

i laughed when i first noticed it (in on of my alliance's guildhall)
it's just stupid to see only core skills
either make it all skills or all skills you have unlocked
I doubt they'd allow any factions skills there because some players with no Factions key would be able to access Factions skills which would be... Kinda unfair?

easy enough for them to make the trader check if you have factions unlocked on your account and making it so you can purchase the skill (with a notice that you won't be able to use it)Originally Posted by Yun
