Are forbidden keys only for use in the final mission areas? (I'm not up to it)

Are the stoneroot keys only for the Kurzick elite mission?

If not, where do you use them? :/


In the Kurzick repeatable challenge mission (Ruins of Altruum or something) what does refined amber do? I heard it counts for 2 as opposed to the standard one that drops from mobs but I dont recall seeing the score jump ever when I picked them up...

I'm pretty sure the forbidden keys are only useable in the final mission areas (or last couple missions). I'm not certain about the stoneroot key though. Maybe someone else can answer that?

Stoneroot keys are used in the House Zu Heltzer elite mission chests.

Forbidden Keys are used for Imperial Sanctum mission and (maybe) Raisu Palace as well.

As for Ruins of Altrumm, I do not know what you're talking about lol, I've never joined Kurzick, and I don't plan to except to cap some elites and then get lost fast.

Thanks both for answering.. so no one has any idea about the refined amber? raw amber drops off mobs and counts for 1 point... refined amber hangs around the map already and does...? :/
