More races = more armours (so that's less armours for human characters?). I don't see ANet make 3 or more sets of the same armour for all those different races (if they have male/female as well that's even twice as many).

On the other hand, I'd prefer more races over more professions, since I'm not at all satisfied with the current profession balances.

IF there would be more races however (I don't really care) it should be existing ones, especially dwarves (not that I would play one but they fit).
No "bad" races like devourers, Charr, undead, mursaat, blood drinkers or whatever.

But for variety, I'd rather have far more armour, faces, hairstyles, white dyes, hairdressers, thin/normal/fat characters, young/old characters than different races.

New Races? Yes. Stereotypical races? No.

I voted yes and yet agree entirely with findariel's comment.

I also appreciate the different cultural inspirations of the chapters. It's as though the entire GuildWars world is a sort of celebration of all the different real world cultures, a celebration of humanity. So, though I'd like to see new races and think they should make some, I am content with them continuing the themes and races of future chapters in the way they have thusfar.

I want to be a Mursaat. . . bad. . . .Spectral Agony SHOULD be a racial skill and it would be fun :). Imagine your in RA and a Canthan runs up on you, Spectral GG

Dwarves and Tengu would fit the GW setting quite well, due to the fact that they are already there as NPC races that you can interact with on a fully sentient level. It would not be too much of a leap to think that you could play as a member of a race that you fight alongside in other parts of the game. So I voted yes on that basis

If more races where to be implemented I would suggest that it only be the races that are unique to GW. That would mean tengue, forgotten, mursaat would all be good but please no dwarves or undead this is GW not WOW.

yea they should add 2 races that each have their own strengths, id say tengu and that their stats are more powerfull and better in mellee, and the naga would be a cool race also and that their main focus is on spellcasting, these 2 would even each other out and things would be fair. they should also add gods that actually do stuff like in eq, but that'll just be going to far.

well, if races were introduced i think it should be only currently existing races. as for my fav. race i would hafta say the forgotton would be my first choice. slithering around instead of walking would be great

How will no Elves not be stereotypical? We already have dwarves and humans in the game, seems pretty stereotypical to me . I would personally love to see elves. And theres already a ton of Legolas rangers running around... wouldnt change much. I agree to the no evil races thing. That would mess up the story of the current chapters. I'd love to see vampires (touch ranger foes anyone? ), werewolves, lizardmen and catpeople too. Either as PC, friend or foe. There will be a lot of problems with new races though. Lots of people love elves, but others hate elves and love dwarves for example. But we'll see what happens...

Yes I wouldn't mind having a short dwarf tank with a tremendous battle axe, but I don't stay up at night worrying about it.

This is pretty much how I feel. I think it would be fun but I would rather beef up our current options rather than get new races. It is a fairly low on my priorities.
