Hey guys, as some of you know I'm leaving soon to go to a German immersion program in Vermont for 7 weeks. That means I can't listen to any english music, in fact german music only. So if anybody has any good german bands, please for the love of God toss them my way, or I might go crazy![]()
Oh, and grats to the new members![]()
I don't know how long till you leave and what type of music you listen to but http://www.shouted.fm/index.php? is a German web casting station. On the right are links to different genres. Some of them still play a bit of English music.
Legion of Losers [LOL]
Isn't David Hasselhoff popular over there?![]()

Probably, LOL, is that a dig on Dirk? GO MAVS!!
For those that don't know, this program for Zeig is such that English isn't allowed to be spoken for the duration of the 7 week period! I guess they are just that intensive about their German Program!!
Did I represent correctly Ziegs??

Zieg...your mad...but iirc Ramstein isn't too bad if your into heavier rock, though admittedly I laugh whenever I hear them :p

I don't know any german, really, but seeing as that's related to swedish, I can sort of understand some of Rammstein's songs.. in the broadest of terms, if nothing else. I'd recommend listening to them, actually, if not for the music itself but more for the fact that most of their songs are more or less spoken rather than sung, so you'll have no trouble hearing what they're saying. This is according to a friend of mine (who took german in high school and) who said it was useful to listen to them.![]()
